About / Contact

My name is Cory Warner. I am a traditional cabinet-maker and furniture designer.

I work by myself in a small shop located in Utah County, about 35 miles south of Salt Lake City where I was born.

Beside my main career path of being a full time woodworker, I also direct a great deal of energy to creating, teaching and writing about Folk Art, which includes but is not limited to:

  • Basketry

  • Weaving (Four Harness Loom)

  • Traditional Painting (Deutsche Fraktur & Norwegian Rosemaling)

  • Broom Making

  • Restoration of Antique Agricultural Equipment

Before I began working as a cabinet-maker, I worked (and continue to work sporadically) as a machinist, vintage motorcycle / small engine mechanic, architectural draftsman, and musician.

HEALTH UPDATE:

Over the past 2+ years, I have been battling with serious health problems that have required multiple surgeries on my elbows, knees and spine.

I am still working through these health issues: due to this, my shop remains more or less closed for the time being.

As of Summer2023, I am willing to take on small commissions on a case by case basis. Feel free to reach out to me via email or phone.

Thank for your continuing kindness, patience and support while I go through this. I sure appreciate it.
